Info: Jack is a 20-year old member of Fairy Tail and one of it’s most unique members. His dark blue Fairy Tail tattoo is on his right forearm. Jack was once a feared assassin and mercenary for higher. He was once known as Jack “The Ripper” Blitzkrieg and was feared by all despite being only 15 years of age. Many don’t know how or why Jack became to be that way at such a young age. Even those that hired him feared him. Only a few people know why he became what he did so young. But meeting the kind-hearted Mirajane caused him to have a change of heart and he joined the guild. However he lacks motivation and since abandoning his old ways, has taken on a very relaxed and lazy attitude. He has a sarcastic nature and tends to condescendingly use such nicknames as "buttercup", " lamb chop", "cupcake", and "sunshine" towards others when annoyed. If he truly wanted to and was motivated to do so, he could easily and officially reach an S-class ranking since his abilities are easily on par with that rank when he's serious. But he considers the S-Class Exam to be too much of a "pain in the ass". However just because he’s lazy does not mean he is not a formidable foe. Being a former mercenary, Jack is a force to be reckoned with. He is a tactical genius and excels at espionage and hand to hand combat. Jack also earned the nickname of Fairy Tail’s “Lightning Viper” for his impressive speed and ability to strike without warning. Jack uses Requip magic and a special style of Requip magic known as “The Mercenary” which allows him to quickly swap out weapons. The weapons he uses range from a simple magic combat knife, magic lightning-infused firearms such as magic pistols, magic gatling guns, magic crossbows, a pair of magic gauntlets that allow him to use powerful lightning magic, and his signature weapons known as “Artillery Blades”. These are powerful weapons that are part-firearm and part-blade. Jack is famous for using these weapons which typically resemble a gun with a long blade where the barrel would normally be. But despite his lazy attitude and foul mouth, he is fiercely loyal towards the guild and very reliable. He considers the guild the only family he has left. He has tremendous respect for Erza since she is a Requip user like him and admiration towards Mirajane since she was the one that convinced him to give up his old ways and join the guild. Upon arriving in the guild, Cana teased Jack due to his extremely shy and awkward nature at first and mockingly called him “Jack In The Box” because of how closed off and secluded he was at first. Now it’s more of a friendly and endearing nickname that she usually calls him to annoy him. But overall he and Cana get along quite well (despite being incredibly light weight when it comes to alcohol) and do bust eachother's chops when given the chance. Sometimes Cana more so than Jack.
